we thoroughly enjoyed our visit up there there was some spectacular views over the city and over the port

it was extremely easy to do on our own

YouTube Video Description

Keelung, Taiwan is a great cruise port destination in its own right but also offers the opportunity to easily explore Taipei on your own. Our video shares our two port visits to Keelung and what we did. On our first visit we stayed in the Keelung area. On our second visit, we made our way on our own into Taipei by train. We share how we got around Taipei and our visit to Taipei 101, Chiang Kai shek Memorial Hall, National Concert Hall and National Theatre. We also made our own way to Ximending Shopping District, Longshan Temple and Hoax Street Night Market, also known as Snake Alley. We share how much things cost us and what we were able to fit in within specific times. We hope you find our video useful and helps you plan your own trip to this port without the need of a costly ship shore excursion.
