Hi, we are Ron and Tammy of Weinke World Adventures. We are glad you found us! The day is finally here... Embarkation Day! This cruise has been a bucket list dream for so long, and it's finally coming to fruition. Alaska- the last frontier has been somewhere we have always wanted to go, and this cruise was chance to finally experience this beautiful state. As the video begins, we are back at the airport returning the rental car, and waiting for our turn to take the bus transfer to Whittier, where the cruise port is located. It's finally our turn, and the bus ride over did not disappoint! Such beautiful scenery the whole way, and the ride was narrated by our wonderful bus driver. It was one of the most beautiful rides we have ever gone on! The 2 1/2 mile tunnel through the mountain was also really a fun experience, and when we came out the other side, we were in Whittier! The video will show you the highlights of all of this, the little picturesque town itself, and finally the Majestic Princess in all of its glory! We even get to see the building that all of the town's people reside in. Then, it's ship boarding time! The embarkation process from the port is super easy, and before you know it, we are exploring our interior cabin and some of the ship. After dinner in the Allegro dining room, we head up on deck to watch the sail away! So much nature... so much beauty! It's amazing to stay up late, and have it be light out to still see all of the mountains, and even a glacier as we sail by. We are truly in the land of the Midnight Sun!
