Major CARNIVAL Cruise Line Updates You MUST Know// In this video, we go over the latest cruise industry news including the Set Sail Safety Act, new cruise cancellations and deployment changes, as well as some positive news for cruises sailing again. Carnival Corporation has sold a total of 18 cruise ships, among it's brands including Carnival, Princess Cruises, Holland America, Costa Cruises and more. This is up from the 13 cruise ships previously announced. In most recent news, Carnival has sold 2 more Fantasy Class ships. This will leave 4 Fantasy class ships with the fleet. The capacity will be made up with new cruise ships due to arrive in 2021. More cancellations were also announced by Carnival Cruises, due to Drydocks of 4 cruise ships, which we explain in detail in the video. Princess Cruises has sold 2 cruise ships, the Sun Princess and Sea Princess. Princess has also been making deployment changes to their fleet. In other breaking news, Florida Senators have introduced the Set Sail Safety Act, indicating that it's understood how important cruising is for the economy and the need for a plan for cruising to return out of the United States. Cruise Line execs and cruise industry stakeholders have met and are eager to see a plan for a return to cruising, with safe protocols.
