So when Marella Explorer Launched in May 2018, they decided to launch the largest ship in the fleet with a capacity of 1,924 passengers. The fleet as a whole, the ship is billed as all-inclusive (in that alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and tips are included). There are 10 restaurants, half are included in the price of your cruise. The restaurants included in the price of your cruise are: - The Market Place - Snack Shack at Latitude 53 - Mediterranean’s pizza - Tapas - Vista’s Italian cuisine. The restaurants that will cost a small extra are: - Surf and Turf steakhouse - Umi Sushi - The Dining Club Marella Explorer are admired for their professional and super friendly entertainment offerings and Explorer marks another step forward! During the day the entertainment team will be on hand to give you pool games, activities and fun competitions. This will all by the pool deck and centeral podium. On top of this there will be a cluster of activities, entertainment and live music up by the pool. Marella Explorer has a laid back warm feel, a lot of the colours used are browns, beige and oranges. The ship is stylish and all come with the expected basics such as a safe, mini-bar, hair dryer, flat-screen TV, etc. There are also some brand-new Family Cabins on Explorer. Most of these family cabins can interconnect across all cabin categories. Its worth noting that all the cabins across all categories are generous in size. There are a lot of insides and outside that offer 4 people (Pullman bed) options and good accessible options too. Interestingly there are 2 balcony grades. The first one has a 12 square meter balcony where you will find a hammock and seating with a table. There are also some 20 square meter balcony cabins for the family, all at the back of the ship, so you can look bakc at the ocean views and see some truly beautiful sunsets. Included in this is a Premier Service. This is where you can get on the ship first with the priority check-in, breakfast in bed and a free pressing service.
