Do you want the best price when you book a cruies? Short video showing how we found the cheapest cruise going where you don't have to add on a flight - and how we got it even cheaper. We've always been uneasy about cruising - these ships are a real blot on the landscape when we've been on holiday in Norway. Ålesund and Stavanger get swamped when they are in port and do we really need all these gas guzzling things carting about pampered tourists with too much money? Well we thought we'd sample it and see what the fuss is about! We've booked a Northern Europe cruise on MSC Euribia on 2nd February. We booked the cheapest cruise as we really don't know if we'll like it - I'm a bit anti-social and we don't drink much, but we've never been to Hamburg so at least we'll see somewhere new. This cruise sets off in Southampton, stops at Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre and Southampton. 7 nights with all meals in the buffet and main restaurants Watch the video to see how we managed to get nearly £130 knocked off the already discounted price. Post cruise note: We came back from our cruise on 9th February and I loved it. The ship was huge, glittery and new, the staff were fantastic, the entertainment was excellent, the food was fine and you could get it any time of day, and the port stops were all (except Zeebrugge) close enough to walk into town. It was very busy with 6000 people on board but it coped very well. Cabins lovely and surprisingly spacious. I would go on the same cruise again if we can find it as cheap. There will be lots of videos coming out of this cruise - I took around 1TB of film! Music: Epidemic Sounds Music Track: Deep South - Biddy Sullivan
