In this video, we check out the amazing München Hauptbahnhof; the main railway station in the city of Munich, Germany. About 450,000 passengers a day travel through this station. It has 32 platforms on the main level, 2 platforms for the S-Bahn and 6 platforms for the U-Bahn. There are several food shops, newsagents, flower and gift shops plus an extensive shopping arcade in the basement. The station has direct access to adjacent stores in the inner city through a shopping arcade. In the Southern part of the building there is an InterCityHotel plus a few hotels are located around the station, including the luxury hotel Sofitel Hotel Munich Bayerpost and Le Méridien where we stayed.
