New-look "Saga Sapphire" arrives into Southampton Docks - 08/12/2017

An early rise and visit to Southampton Docks to see the arrivals of the cruise ships on Friday 8th December 2017. However, due to alarms not going off and three of the ships coming in earlier than they were listed for, only managed to see one of them arrive fully. However, it was the one we were most wanting to see - the newly-refurbished Saga Cruises' "Saga Sapphire" which now carries the old Saga colours with a yellow funnel. She docked at the City Cruise Terminal just before 8am. Also in port were Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' "Balmoral" docked at the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal and due to depart soon after for a refit of her own; CUNARD's "Queen Elizabeth" at the Ocean Cruise Terminal; and Saga's other current vessel, "Saga Pearl II".
