In the early hours on Monday 29th April, Southampton Docks welcomed the brand-new Norwegian Cruise Line's "Norwegian Breakaway" having sailed from Rotterdam as she makes her overnight visit before departing across the Atlantic to her new home base in New York. "Norwegian Breakaway" was to moor at the 'City' Terminal, but rather than sail up past Mayflower Park or to the Upper Swinging Ground to turn, the ship instead turned opposite the 'Ocean' Terminal before reversing back past Mayflower Park to moor at the 'City' Terminal. Whilst "Norwegian Breakaway" was docking, the RFA Supply Ship "Anvil Point" arrived at moored at the Marchwood Military Port alongside her sister ship "Eddystone". "Norwegian Breakaway" is due to depart at 17:00 hours on Tuesday 30th April.
