On the second day of the Alaska sailing on the Norwegian Encore, I decided to check out one of the Main Dining Rooms, Savor, for breakfast! Did I love it or did I hate it? Watch to find out! I started off with their version of Biscuits and Gravy. It was served with 3 sausage links, smothered in a sausage gravy, and topped off with a grilled tomato. The biscuits were soft and flakey and the gravy was a good compliment. Between my meals, my server had brought out 2 Irish Coffees (since the restaurant was going to close soon). They were just as delicious here as they were on embark day in the Garden Cafe! A great aperitif as I moved onto my second dish. For my next plate of food, I opted for the traditional Eggs Benedict. The poached egg was delicately placed on top of a thick slab of ham which rested on an open English muffin. The hollandaise was traditional in color and taste and perfectly paired up with the benedict. On the side, they served lean bacon which was cooked to perfection! I definitely shared some enjoyable moments with the table next to me as I prepared to chow down on this feast.
