NCL Prima offers a sleek bow and a wide-open aft. This enables the cruise line to offer several new experiences and activities on Norwegian Prima when it sails in 2022. Norwegian Cruise Line claims that this new cruise ship will have the highest staffing levels and space ratios of any new cruise ship. ------THE OCEAN BOULEVARD------ Perhaps the most impressive part of the Norwegian Prima unveiled so far is the new Ocean Boulevard. This open air deck replaces the Waterfront found on other cruise ships in the fleet, wrapping around the entire ship. This deck will be home to Infinity Beach, including two infinity pools located on each side of the ship. There will also be the Concourse, a 2 million dollar art exhibit with dynamic sculptures that change from day to night. This one-of-a-kind space will also be home to La Terraza. This secluded area on the front of the ship is the perfect place to unwind with friends and a cocktail to watch the ocean views. ------NORWEGIAN PRIMA RESTAURANTS------ Also on the Ocean Boulevard is the new Indulge Food Hall, a brand new concept for Norwegian Cruise Line. This area will include 11 distinct eateries with a la carte options. Some of the venues will be familiar to Norwegian Cruise Line fans like Q Texas Smokehouse and Coco's. Others will be new to the brand, including Nudls, the Latin Quarter, a food truck, the Garden offering custom salads, and more. There will be two dessert venues as well. In addition to the Food Hall's seating, there will also be the Indulge Outdoor Lounge. This bar and lounge will be located all the way aft of the ship and be home to the first fire pits at sea, as well as an outdoor movie screen. Other Norwegian Prima restaurants include Los Lobos, which serves upscale Mexican food, as well as Onda by Scarpetta, the new Italian restaurant that debuted on Norwegian Encore. We expect more updates on Norwegian Prima restaurants at a later date. ------ACCOMMODATIONS AND THE HAVEN------ The standard cabins on Norwegian Prima will be the largest in the NCL fleet. These rooms include the largest bathrooms in the fleet as well. The ship will hold just 3,215 passengers, substantially fewer than you would expect on a ship of this size. In addition, The Haven on Norwegian Prima will be the most luxurious in the fleet. All 107 cabins will be located next to each other at the aft of the ship and the complex will span 8 decks. This includes the newly re-designed sun deck, with an infinity pool and outdoor spa. The Haven will include a restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating, as well as both an indoor and outdoor bar exclusive to guests staying in this private area. The Haven will also have its own private elevator with direct access. ------NORWEGIAN PRIMA ITINERARY------ For its first year, Norwegian Prima's itineraries include sailings in Northern Europe and North America. In North America, the ship will sail from New York, Galveston, and Miami before settling in its homeport of Port Canaveral.
