About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

This is our first day in Olympic National Park in Washington. After a night at Lake Quinault Lodge, we see a world-record Sitka Spruce, walk a rainforest nature trail and watch Merriman Waterfall in the Quinault Valley in the Olympic National Forest, just outside the park. Then we see the Pacific Ocean and several beaches, including the popular Ruby Beach, west of the park. We drive through Forks, made famous by the Twilight books and movies and end our day at the crystal blue waters of Crescent Lake. #Washington #OlympicNationalPark #Twilight In This Video 00:00 Introduction 00:10 Map of Area 00:23 Lake Quinault and the Lake Quinault Lodge 03:08 Lake Quinault Lodge and Cabin 05:35 World's Largest Sitka Spruce Tree Trail 07:30 Map of Quinault Valley Touring and Hiking 07:48 Merriman Falls 09:08 Rain Forest Nature Trail 13:42 Spruce Burl Trail to the Beach and Pacific Ocean Views 14:45 Driving by the Pacific Ocean and Viewpoints 17:46 Ruby Beach 18:24 Entering Olympic National Park and Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center 19:09 Forks, Washington, made famous by the Twilight Movies 22:25 Lake Crescent
