On day 12 we reached our second and final port of Nanortalik, Greenland on our Island Princess Iceland and Greenland Cruise. We spent the morning exploring Island Princess and we had a Princess excursion booked for the afternoon. Nanortalik is a small settlement in southern Greenland with a population of 1,185. It has a very small port which lead to some difficulties in allowing cruise passengers to explore this town. Nanrotalik is one of the most remote places we have ever visited, and we enjoyed experiencing the local way of life. We had booked an Iceberg Tour on a Rib, this allowed us to get up close and personal to many of the local icebergs.
