Heading to Barcelona and wondering what it’s really like to visit Park Güell and Sagrada Família in one day? In this video, Dockside Travel takes you through two of the city’s most famous and breathtaking attractions — and shares what we learned along the way (including a few surprises!). We were maybe a little too ambitious and decided to walk to our Park Güell meeting point… only to discover it was mostly uphill, and our map sent us to the wrong entrance. 🤦♂️ That meant a detour down stairs, across city blocks, and up more staircases before finally reaching the park — but once inside, it was absolutely worth it. 🌿 Park Güell Colourful mosaics, curved benches, playful architecture, and incredible views over Barcelona — Gaudí really did build a fantasy world on a hillside. We’ll show you the main features, viewpoints, and why this park is so magical. ⛪ Sagrada Família From there, we catch a bus to the city’s iconic basilica — an awe-inspiring landmark that feels like stepping into a forest made of stone and light. We’ll walk you through the details outside, the stunning stained-glass interior, and the feeling of finally seeing this masterpiece in person. After the tour, we stop for tapas at a local restaurant, then head back to our apartment where we finish the day by making sangria and dinner — the perfect Barcelona evening. 👇 Let us know in the comments: Which one amazes you more — Park Güell or Sagrada Família? 🚢 And don’t miss what’s coming next… Our next video shows you how Barcelona’s hop-on hop-off bus system works and why it’s one of the easiest ways to see the city. 👍 If you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe, and join the Dockside Crew so you don’t miss any of the adventure ahead. 📍 Filmed in Barcelona, Spain 🎥 Part of our Virgin Voyages Transatlantic Pre-Cruise Series (Day 3) 🚢 Stay Connected: 📍 Facebook: facebook.com/docksidetravel 📷 Instagram: @docksidetravel Please Note: While we share our opinions and personal experiences in this video, it is for your entertainment.
