Sydney is Australia’s gateway to cruising. The Overseas Passenger Terminal located in Sydney’s The Rocks, is perfectly positioned for you to take in all that the Sydney Harbour foreshore has to offer before or after your cruise, or even during a port day. Come with me as we explore Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Opera Bar, Bennelong restaurant, the Royal Botanic Gardens, The Rocks and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I’ve even included some highlight footage of Sydney New Years Eve celebrations. I’ll also cover the public transport interchange that is Circular Quay, including Sydney’s trains, ferries, light rail and buses. I also take a trip on the Royal Botanic Garden Choo Choo Train Express, covering the expansive and beautiful grounds of the gardens. The special highlight is the Wollemi Pine, a tree only recently rediscovered and the closest thing to a living fossil. The Rocks Markets offer an array of food and craft stalls, as well as fashion. I’ve also included some time-lapse footage of Voyager of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas departing and arriving at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Make sure you subscribe, to make sure you catch the next instalments of my Sydney series where I will be covering places a little further afield that you can still explore or enjoy before/after or during your cruise.
