Is this the best Sports Bar at Sea? Royal Caribbean Cruise food options are extensive and now they have a Sports Bar. Playmakers Bar and Arcade is where you will go to catch the game, hang out with friends and take someone on in air hockey. We are going to tell you everything you need to know to Playmakers so you can decide if this is a restaurant you would want to spend your time and money at. Have you ever been to a sports bar on a cruise ship? Playmakers Bar Royal Caribbean brings all that you love about a sports bar with the views of the ocean. As you would expect with a sports bar and arcade there are lots of TVs so you have a view of a TV no matter where you are sitting and there is a guide of the professional games that they will be showing on your sailing. There is a nice large bar, some booths and tables to enjoy a drink and watch all the action. Royal Caribbean Cruise ships have differing layouts depending on the class of ship. On the Quantum ultra class of ships there are floor to ceiling windows which give you great views of the ocean. On the Oasis class there is indoor and outdoor seating on the Boardwalk. The location will depend on which cruise ship you are on. Playmakers Bar Royal Caribbean is located in the Sportsplex on the Quantum Ultra Class. You get to overlook the sports court where they have all different activities like bumper cars, and basketball. This is also where the arcade is so you can take someone on in air hockey. On the Oasis class of ships Playmakers is on the boardwalk with the open air and near the aqua theatre. Playmakers is open for lunch and dinner serving America Bar style food. Royal Caribbean food does not disappoint as they have the best dessert I had all cruise. They also have some options that aren't available anywhere else on the ship like chicken wings. Playmakers Royal Caribbean is an extra cost. You pay per item so you could go in and just get some chicken wings or nothing. If you have a beverage package you can use it here. We found the food at Playmakers bar Royal Caribbean was more of a convenience. It was good and not over priced but there was a three course meal waiting for you in the MDR. -=-=- Merchandise -=-=- Checkout our brand new merchandise we just launched.
