Sunday 2nd April 2017 saw the three largest ships in the P&O Cruises fleet come together in Southampton Docks for the first time. The first to depart was "Azura" (launched in 2010) at 17:15 from the 'Mayflower' Cruise Terminal heading off on a 14-night cruise to the Mediterranean and returning on Sunday 16th April (Easter Sunday). The second to depart was "Ventura" (launched in 2008) from the 'City' Cruise Terminal at 17:23 heading off on a 7-night cruise along Western Europe and returning on Sunday 9th April. This marked the first time she has used the 'City' Terminal. The third and final ship to depart was "Britannia" (launched in 2015) from the 'Ocean' Cruise Terminal at 18:03 heading off on a 12-night cruise to the Canary Islands and returning on Friday 14th April (Good Friday). Prior to their departure was the departure of the Bulk Carrier "Florenta" which had been damaged whilst trying to leave on a previous date and had now been repaired. Viewed from Mayflower Park and behind Town Quay Marina.
