This port day came with a twist: the cruise dock is actually in Getxo, about 20–30 minutes away from Bilbao’s city center. Welcome to Bilbao, Spain! 🚢 We built a DIY walking tour starting at the Bilbao Intermodal Bus Station, hitting 18 incredible stops! So, what do you do with limited time? You plan your own adventure! What followed was a self-guided walking tour through history, culture, and a whole lot of steps! 📍 Some Stops We Explored: • ⚽ San Mamés Stadium – Nicknamed the "New Cathedral" by fans! • 🕊️ Doña Casilda Park – With romantic fountains, this park has been a local fave since 1907. • 🌁 Pedro Arrupe Bridge – Offers an unforgettable view of the Guggenheim and River Nervión. • 🐶 Puppy – Yes, this massive floral dog sculpture guards the Guggenheim Museum entrance! • 🛍️ Mercado de la Ribera – Europe’s biggest indoor food market.
