Pride of America--Maui Day 2--Iao Needle and Sea Turtles

The Pride of America sails from Honolulu to three of Hawaii's other islands. Maui is the first stop, and we docked there overnight so we had two days. This is day 2. Check out my Hawaiian Adventures: https://www.themeparkvistas.com/blog On our second day in Maui we went with a private tour guide for a few hours. We hired him prior to visiting Hawaii. We visited Iao Valley State Park and specifically the Iao Needle. The scenery was beautiful. We drove by a few locations that I didn't film, like a Frank Lloyd Wright designed building that is now part of the King Kamehameha Golf Club. We finished up at Ho'okipa Beach Park to see the sea turtles that go up on the beach to rest. It was very cool. We cut the tour a little short and went back to the ship for lunch and were back in time to make fresh floral leis, which only happened once on the cruise.
