Princess Cruise Ship 'Sapphire Princess' Maiden Cruise from Southampton 05/05/18

Today in the very early hours of 5th May 2018 Princess Cruises 'Sapphire Princess' arrived in Southampton from her homeport in Singapore at 4:30am, this is the vey first time that this cruise ship has been seen in British Waters and a first for Southampton. Princess Cruises brought her over here to test out the British Cruise market and from what I have seen today in daylight it looks like she is going to be a very popular ship to go cruising on. She was berthed at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal when she arrived and this afternon she departed from there at about 16:24pm for a 7 Night round-trip Spain & France Cruise. While she is here her itinerary will include cruises out around the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Baltic, Norwegian Fjords and parts of Europe etc. I did orignally intend to try and film her upon her arrival in Southampton in the early hours but I overslept and therefore didn't make it but made up for it in her very first departure from Southampton where she will be throughout the cruise season in Southampton until the end of September when she will return back to Singapore and come back here next year in the middle of April 2019.
