Progresso Cruise Port Tour was recorded on May 19 2026. We were sailing on Carnival Valor. This was our first time back since 2012 and it has grown a lot since then. I noticed several places to grab drinks, there is a small pool near the entrance to the pier. There are restrooms available, and free shuttles into Progresso that run every 20 mminutes. You can get bus transportation into Marida which is something people do regularly as it is the stste capital. There are the typical venders trying to sell you what they have but a simple no is all that's needed. The area feel very safe, and the people are really friendly. I do recomend Eladio's Bar located right on the beach.
