Three large cruise ships were in Southampton Docks on Tuesday 19th June 2012, all of which belonged to companies owned by Carnival UK. Cunard's "Queen Elizabeth" was docked in Berth 46/The 'Ocean' Terminal and was joined by Princess Cruises's "Caribbean Princess" (which is making its first year running out of Southampton) docked in Berth 101/The 'City' Terminal and P&O Cruises's "Aurora" docked in Berth 106/The 'Mayflower' Terminal. "Queen Elizabeth" was the first to depart at around 16:30 followed by "Caribbean Princess at 17:00 and then "Aurora" at around 17:15 - 17:20. Also seen in Southampton today was the Trinity House Vessel "Patricia" moored with other classic ships SS "Shieldhall" and Tugboat "Calshot"; and also a rare visitor in the form of the Royal Navy's last remaining Aircraft Carrier HMS "Illustrious" who was moored at the Marchwood Military Base.
