The day after "Oceana" and "Saga Ruby" departed from Southampton, the docks played host to two of the three 'Cunard' 'Queens' on Tuesday 10th May 2011. RMS "Queen Mary 2" was the first to depart from Berth 46/The 'Ocean Cruise Terminal'. This is the dock area that her predecessor (the RMS "Queen Mary", now preserved as a Hotel & Museum in Longbeach, California) would have sailed from. Not long after "Queen Mary 2" had departed, M/S "Queen Victoria" slipped her moorings from Berth 106/The 'Mayflower Cruise Terminal' and followed, passing Southampton's Floating Crane as she approached the Town Quay.
