A very busy afternoon on Sunday the 4th August 2019 as the "Queen Mary 2", "Explorer of The Seas", "Ventura", "Nautica" & "Marina" make their departures from the Port of Southampton and there was quite a large gathering of people also watching these ships from Town Quay which is where I was as well. The first to depart from the Ocean Cruise Terminal was the Cunard "Queen Mary 2" just after 16:45pm for a 7 Night Cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and her first port of call is to Bergen in Norway. Shortly after the "QM2" had departed then it was the turn of the slightly delayed Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship "Explorer of The Seas" to make her departure from the City Cruise Terminal at about 17:05pm for a 14 Night Scandinavia & Russia Cruise and her first port of call is to Oslo in Norway. After the "Explorer of The Seas" then it was the turn of the P&O Cruises "Ventura" she left the Mayflower Cruise Terminal just before 17:15pm to make her turn round in the upper swinging ground before passing Town Quay from where the filming of this video took place. She is away for a 12 Night Cruise to the Canary Islands and her first port call is to Funchal in Maderia. Next it was the turn of the Oceania Cruises "Nautica" to depart from berth 102 shortly after 18:00pm for a 20 Night Viking & Royals Cruise London to London which is in all respects from Southampton to Southampton and her first port call is to Leith - Edingburgh in Scotland. As she sailed past the "Marina" which was berthed in the QEII Cruise Terminal they both sounded their horns to each other. Last of all after nearly an hours delay was another Oceania Cruises the "Marina" from the QEII Crusie Terminal just before 19:00pm with tug assistance needed from the Svitzer Alma. The "Marina" is away for a 10 Night Celtic Kingdoms Cruise London to London which is in all respects from Southampton to Southampton and her first port call is to Leith - Edinburgh in Scotland.
