Resilient Lady: Mykonos Greece on October 7th, 2023 (with Odyssey of the Seas, NCL Breakaway, +)

On October 1st Virgin Voyages' Resilient Lady set sail on a 7 night Greek Island Glow Voyage around the eastern Mediterranean. Sailing round trip from Athens she made stops in various ports within the Greek Islands as well as Turkey. This was her second to last voyage of this itinerary for the 2023 season. For her final port of call she made a visit to Mykonos Greece. Arriving at 9AM on the 6th she spent the night in port with a complimentary bus to the town of Mykonos running the entire time. Early in the morning before the sun rose the empty harbor started to fill up as the Odyssey of the Seas and Norwegian Breakaway each arrived to conduct tender operations to the Old Port of Mykonos. In addition to those two vessels the Celebrity Constellation also arrived positioning herself a drift just aft of the Resilient Lady to conduct tender operations to the new harbor just across the pier from where Resilient Lady was docked. Resilient Lady was scheduled to depart at 2:00 PM but was delayed about 30 minutes before actually leaving the pier. Once again against high winds she managed to maneuver herself out of the pier and between the Odyssey of the Seas and Celebrity Constellation while Ferries were coming and going. As she finally set sail the MSC Musica was making her arrival, but due to the high winds she sailed right through the harbor of Mykonos and continued on her way, the only ship to miss this port over the two days.
