On October 1st Virgin Voyages' Resilient Lady set sail on a 7 night Greek Island Glow Voyage around the eastern Mediterranean. Sailing round trip from Athens she made stops in various ports within the Greek Islands as well as Turkey. This was her second to last voyage of this itinerary for the 2023 season. Her first port of call came the very next day when she made a visit to Santorini Greece. A volcanic island it consists of an outer ring and a central island. The Resilient Lady sailed through the outer ring early in the morning under windy conditions to make her way to a location to tender. Already there at the time was the Marella Explorer and Ritz-Carlton Evrima while the Rhapsody of the Seas and MSC Music both missed their visit for the day due to the conditions and their vessels being unable to handle them. Resilient Lady had no issue finding her location to conduct tender operations for the duration of the day. With massive cliffs and the cities located high above on them as the sun set the lights of the cities created a unique scene as the Resilient Lady made her departure from the Island.
