About our Bacon Score methodologyYouTube Video Description↓
I retired last July, and the initial months were surprisingly difficult. I felt incredibly bored, restless, and anxious, a stark contrast to my previous life of working long hours. If you're experiencing anything similar in your retirement, then this video is for you. My story, I believe, can offer some help. The sudden shift to having nothing to do was overwhelming, but I discovered a solution that truly transformed my outlook. You guessed it – cruising became a significant part of that solution. Following my wife's advice to get out and do something, I remembered how being on a cruise ship always made my worries disappear, even during my working years. There's always something to do on board, from enjoying the buffet and bars to catching shows and socializing. To keep my mind active, I also started creating videos about my experiences, which led to the birth of this channel. Cruising after 50 is fantastic because you own your time. I've had wonderful experiences meeting people on cruises, including subscribers to my channel, which has been incredibly rewarding. My advice to those over 50 and retired is to embrace cruising, connect with others, and perhaps even explore a creative outlet like YouTube to keep life fun and engaging.
