The Prater Fair in Vienna, Austria, (pronounced "PRAH-teh"), is one of the oldest and largest year-round fairs in the world. The trademark of this fair is the famous Big Wheel. Built in 1897, it was the tallest of it's kind for most of it's life, (until the Technostar Wheel was built in Osaka in 1985).
