This is a quick look at the Royal Princess cruise ship. For a longer, more detailed tour of this ship: https://youtu.be/Z8utgkbhftk The Royal Princess was built in 2013 and last refurbished in 2016. It is 141,000 tons and carries 3560 passengers. It is a beautiful ship with a great crew. Like all ships though, it has it's drawbacks. The main one is not being able to walk up and down the Promenade deck on the outside of the ship. Of course you can't walk the Promenade deck inside on the port (left) side of the ship either. The Piazza is very grand and a hub of activity all day. I wish there were more seating there. As with other Princess ships like this, they use Princess Live! for almost everything. There were so many Elite and Platinum passengers on our cruise they had to split us into 5 separate Captain's Circle parties (and the free drinks weren't very good, either). Because of this (and Art Auctions) the Vista lounge was occupied most every day.
