Creator's Key Takeaways

It's a nice, clean, ship but does feel 'lived in'. The crew is great job.

The Ruby Princess was built in 2008 and last refurbished in 2015. It weighs in at 113,561 tons and carries 3,080 passengers.

I recommend going on it if you're gonna sail the California coast or Alaska.

This is the International Cafe so this is where you would get your fancy coffee that you would have to pay for but you can also get free food.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Use the self-serve laundry on passenger decks, but note it costs $3 for soap and $3 for fabric softener.
Check the schedule for the Skywalker's nightclub on deck 18, as it may not always be open.
For free food, visit the International Cafe and wait in line for pastries or sandwiches.

YouTube Video Description

This is a quick tour of Princess Cruises Ruby Princess. The Ruby Princess was built in 2008 and last refurbished in 2015. It weighs in at 113,561 tons and carries 3,080 passengers. It's a nice, clean, ship but does feel 'lived in'. The crew is great job. The ruby Princess has a few dining options. We have eaten in the Crown Grill ($29 p/p) on other Princess ships and never been disappointed. Share by Curtis Stone is another story though. It has a great atmosphere and wait staff. You get 6 courses of food that doesn't seem like a lot, until you get to the last couple, and you're stuffed. The problem was the lobster and scallops (2 different dishes). They were both terrible. Well overcooked. We could have sent them back, but then what? We won't eat there again. All in all though, a really nice ship and crew. Princess does a great job! I know some might think it's not important but, Princess ships have self-serve laundromats, which can be useful. This ship cruises the Mexican Riviera and The California coastline in fall and winter. In spring and summer, it is in Alaska. We hope you enjoy the videos and your next cruise. Please Subscribe to our channel, Port Monkeys.
