"Saga Sapphire", "Oriana", "Ventura" & "Arcadia" depart from Southampton - 14/04/2013

A very busy afternoon for Southampton Docks on Sunday 14th April 2013 with four cruise ships in the port. Three of the ships were from P&O Cruises with "Arcadia" (having returned from her World Cruise) at the 'Mayflower' Terminal, "Ventura" at the 'Ocean' Terminal and "Oriana" in the 'QEII' Terminal. The fourth ship was Saga Cruises' "Saga Sapphire" who had been docked at the 'City' Terminal since Wednesday 10th April. We begin this video with the departure of the container ship "NYK Altair" who departed from the Container Terminal at 14:56 heading for Le Havre. The first cruise ship to depart was "Saga Sapphire" at 16:27 for La Corunna. She produced a huge amount of black smoke from her funnel at various intervals and was assisted by the tugs "Wyeforce" & "Wyestorm". The next ship to depart was "Oriana" at 16:50 heading for Vigo. She was followed by "Ventura" at 17:02 for Madeira and finally "Arcadia" at 17:09 for Ponta Delgada. Viewed from Hythe Marina.
