Short Day in St. Thomas & Our BEST Meal on Icon of the Seas? | Empire Supper Club Experience🍸✨

In this part of our Icon of the Seas vlog, we had a stop in St. Thomas… but true to our usual cruise style, we got a late start and didn’t have a ton of time ashore since all-aboard was 2:00 PM. Instead of trying to rush an excursion, we stayed near the port, walked the shopping area, and still managed to find a few unexpected surprises just exploring close to the ship. Sometimes a slower port day is exactly what you need on a cruise this packed. After heading back onboard, we made an essential stop at Starbucks to try the new Dubai chocolate-inspired drinks. The Mocha version was a win — rich and chocolatey. The Matcha version… not so much for me. Glad we tried it, but I wouldn’t order that one again. Then came the unexpected twist of the day. We found an onboard offer for Empire Supper Club at essentially 50% off / BOGO pricing. At first, we turned it down because I didn’t pack any long pants for this cruise — I planned to be completely relaxed the whole time. Empire Supper Club does have a strict long-pants-only dress code for men, which we absolutely respected. But the deal was too good, so we booked it anyway and decided we’d figure out the pants situation later. What did I do? You’ll have to watch and see. Once there, they helped complete the look with a blazer, and I have to admit… it came together better than expected. Empire Supper Club turned out to be one of the most unique specialty dining experiences we’ve had at sea. It’s designed more like an upscale supper club evening than a traditional cruise dinner, with multiple courses, elevated dishes, live music, and a slower, more intentional pace. By the end of the night, it was easily one of our favorite specialty dining experiences to date.
