On our 5th day aboard the Sun Princess we were in port at St Thomas where we took a catamaran snorkeling excursion. The boat ride was about an hour each direction with a good amount of time to snorkel once we arrived in Turtle Bay. On the return ride back to the ship there was music and service of Painkiller cocktails. We met a few people from the ship and had a nice conversation about how much we were enjoying the Sun. Back onboard we grabbed lunch from the International cafe, John had an absurd sundae (the soft serve cones were $4 with no package or with Plus, and free with Premium according to the menu). We took a nap before dinner in the Americana Diner (underwhelming but worth a try) and then attended a show and the deck party before heading to bed early. Snorkeling days are usually early evenings, but this was one of the highlights of our trip. I hope you enjoy coming along with us - more footage from snorkeling will be included with our 360 video to follow.
