Cruise ships are high volume traffic environments. We often don't think of how many hundreds of people a year stay in the same cabins we do, and how it's complicated for the crew to keep everything as clean as they should be. We found some less than desirable cleanliness levels in our mini-suite on the Royal Princess. We hope this video helps other cruisers understand how important it is to be vigilant in inspecting their cabins and being proactive in doing some simple cleaning and sanitizing, regardless of which cruise line they cruise on. Princess is a good cruise line with lots of good hard working crew. Incidents like this will happen, so cruisers need to be prepared to do basic sanitization when needed. Once the issues shown here were addressed on Day 1, we had no other sanitation issues in our cabin that bothered us the remainder of the cruise.
