About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

This couple's adventure vlog shows the hike from the Bishop Pass Trailhead at South Lake to Treasure Lakes. It is around a 5.4-mile round trip hike with an elevation gain of 1360 feet. The Treasure Lake Day Hike is one of the best Eastern Sierra day hikes to a glacial lake in Inyo National Forest! Directions & How to Get There: Leave Hwy 395 in Bishop, and turn west on Line Street. Follow Hwy 168 in the direction of South Lake. A paved parking lot for day hiking with some overnight parking spots, is past the boat ramp, at roads end. Overflow parking is roadside at Parcher's camp less than a mile from South Lake. When you start the trail, you will hike from South Lake to a fork which breaks off to the Treasure Lakes Trail on the right and Bishop Pass on the left. Make sure to stay to your right! Other Eastern Sierra Day Hikes in the Area: If you stay to your left and hike from South Lake to Bishop Pass, you can reach other glacial lakes in the Eastern Sierra like Long Lake and Chocolate Lake. 💰 SAVE MONEY ON YOUR TRIP & PLATFORMS WE USE: 🏠 Book Your Airbnb: https://creators.withairbnb.com/mypage/theloverspassport 📲 USA eSIM: https://saily.tpm.lv/SP355LWc 🧳 Our Luggage: https://referrals.awaytravel.com/away... 🚗 Rent a car in USA: https://discovercars.tpm.lv/bFP6lJ4x ✈️ Get Cheap Flight Deals To Your Inbox: https://thriftytraveler.com/a/thelove...
