Creator's Key Takeaways

I don't think Christmas cookies are just for Christmas. You can have them all year long.

I'm learning very important things about baking. Number one, I'm no good at it. Patty's an expert.

It comes from the German word spritzen? It means to squirt out. So, we're actually squirting out dough to make cookies.

I think I'll leave it up to Patty. Any cookies or any baking, I'm going to leave it up to Patty.

Creator's Tips & Advice

Use almond extract for spritz cookies, not cashew extract.
Mix butter and powdered sugar slowly to avoid puffing.
Use a cookie press for even shaping; electric ones are available.
Bake at 350°F for less browning, or 400°F as per traditional recipe.
