STORM causes an EMERGENCY on AMBASSADOR Ambience - DAY 10 VLOG

On day 10 we were docked in the port of Cherbourg, France to shelter from Storm Noa. There was an emergency due to high winds and the Ambassador team and port crew handled the issue safely, fortunately no one was injured or hurt. We had booked a gifted excursion to visit a number of World War 2 historic sites on the Normandy coast, including Utah Beach and Sainte-Mère-Église. The excursion was gifted to us by Ambassador. We dined on the Captains table for our Farewell Gala dinner and experienced a Musicals show in the Palladium Theatre! We ended our evening in the Observatory with Band Smash! We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked. Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us. We have created a list of our cruise essentials.
