Now that the Swanage Railway's 'Grand Steam Gala' was over, LNER A4-class 4-6-2 No.60019 "Bittern" (running as No.4492 "Dominion of New Zealand") returned to Eastleigh 'light-engine' plus its second tender & Support Coach on Tuesday 13th September 2011. Seen passing through Totton, the A4 was to work the next 'Bath Spa Express' excursion from Poole to Bath and Bristol the following day. This wasn't the first steam movement along the section of main line between Wareham and Eastleigh on this day; BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell" had worked the down 'Dorset Coast Express' earlier in the day.
