About our Bacon Score methodology
YouTube Video Description

We take a tour of the ruins of Pompeii and discover what happened here on 24th August 79AD. This guided tour hosted by Celebrity Cruises gave us great insight and involed audio and video footage via virtual 3D glasses. This gave us 3D video images of various locations throughout City and showed us what it looked like prior to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. We tour the Great Theatres, The Streets, Houses and the City Square and finish off in the Museum. The Museum houses many artifacts, statues and a selection of plaster casts where human life and animal life were frozen in time. About 3/4 of Pompeii's 165 acres have been excavated, and some 1,150 bodies have been discovered out of an estimated 2,000 thought to have died in the disaster. This means that the vast majority of the city of 20,000 fled at the first signs of the volcanic activity. Though Pompeii is still being excavated, new casts are not being made because the plaster damages the fragile remains of of the corpses. It shocks and saddens you to see these up close and personal. 00:00 - Introduction 00:31 - Pete & Lisa Intro 01:24 - Gladiators Barracks and Courtyard 01:54 - Ampitheatre of Pompeii 02:59 - Great Theatre of Pompeii 03:54 - Stepping Stones 04:22 - Photo Shots 04:38 - Casa Cornelli 07:15 - Casa Del Menandro 07:38 - Water Tower 08:28 - Crowds and Busy Street Walk 08:55 - Town Square 10:26 - Sanctuary of Venus 11:13 - Museum of Pompeii 11:22 - Bodies (Plaster casts) 11:34 - Bodies (Plaster casts) 12:03 - Artwork and Statues & More Plaster casts 12:17 - Outro Follow us on social media: https://www.instagram.com/cruiselife22 https://www.tiktok.com/@itsacruiselife
