YouTube Video Description↓
The third and final run of the 'Railway Touring Company's 'Swanage Belle' excursions from London to Swanage on Saturday 15th October 2011. For this run, two locomotives were put in charge, one to work each leg. Both locos had worked on the two previous 'Swanage Belle' trains earlier in the year. BR 'Britannia'-class 4-6-2 No.70013 "Oliver Cromwell" had worked the return leg of the first excursions on Saturday 14th May whilst SR unrebuilt 'Battle of Britain'-class 4-6-2 No.34067 "Tangmere" worked the entire second excursion on Thursday 16th June along with Class 37 No.37516 back as far as Southampton Central. For the third and final run of the 2011 'Swanage Belles', we see "Oliver Cromwell" hauling the outward leg and "Tangmere" the return. Both are seen passing through Totton Station.
