Nestled between towering mountains and the waters of the Inside Passage, this beautiful Alaskan city is full of unforgettable experiences. We begin our day soaring 1,800 feet above Juneau on the Goldbelt Tram, where breathtaking views of the harbor, mountains, and even our cruise ship await. After exploring the top of Mount Roberts and enjoying the stunning scenery, we head back into town to visit the legendary Red Dog Saloon, a historic Gold Rush-era bar where we try the famous “Duck Fart” drink. Next, we set out on an unforgettable whale watching adventure from Auke Bay Harbor. Along the way we spot bald eagles, sea lions, and several whale spouts before experiencing an incredible moment — spotting the famous humpback whale Flame and her calf Bunsen swimming in the wild. Our Juneau adventure continues with a visit to the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls, where we witness the beauty of Alaska’s icy landscapes up close. After an amazing day exploring Juneau, we return to the Silversea Silver Moon to enjoy a wonderful dinner at S.A.L.T. Kitchen, reflecting on another unforgettable Alaska adventure.
