Universal Orlando Resort offers resort guests and Annual Passholders early park admission, which is an hour prior to park open, usually at Islands of Adventure, where guests can get a jump start on their day. At Islands of Adventure, the attractions that are available during early park admission are Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Velocicoaster, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff and Ollivander's. During our visit, we were able to ride both Forbidden Journey and the Velocicoaster during the early park admission hour. Hagrid's had a very long wait of 180 minutes, so unfortunately, we couldn't ride that, but two e-ticket attractions in an hour is great! This is just one of the awesome perks of staying on property at Universal. Additionally, depending on which hotel you stay at, you can also get Express Pass for free!
