When our cruise ship docked in Kobe, we took a short tram to the bus station and a bus to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. We'd always wanted to visit and especially while Halloween Horror Nights was happening. We began by walking around the park looking at merchandise, riding rides, eating specialty food and watching the WaterWorld show. I was especially excited about the JAWS ride since it was removed from US parks years ago, and it's such a cute ride! USJ has the following areas Hollywood New York Minion Park San Francisco WaterWorld Amity Village Jurassic Park Universal Wonderland with Kids Rides from Sesame Street, Hello Kitty and Snoopy Super Nintendo World, the newest and busiest area The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Along with regular food and merch, during Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Japan offers special Halloween food and merch, a movie and the houses are open during the day. At night, the whole area after the entrance to the park comes alive with walking zombies, dancing zombies and a show where the music gets stuck in your head! It's very different to the US parks in a good way.
