Day 3 of my first solo cruise adventure onboard Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas, and it’s all about exploring the world-famous Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island paradise in the Bahamas! This day was extra special as it was my first time disembarking solo and my first experience at Coco Cay’s Thrill Water Park, home to record-breaking slides and exciting attractions. After a smooth disembarkation, I scanned my SeaPass to enter Thrill Water Park, checked out the free lockers, and found a perfect spot to start my day of thrills! From high-speed solo slides to the relaxing wave pool, I explored it all. I also took a quick break at the Snack Shack for lunch, where I enjoyed delicious complimentary treats before heading to Captain Jack’s to try their famous steak fries (a bit of a miss, so here’s a tip: head to the free buffet if you’re craving fries!). I later explored Oasis Lagoon and Chill Island, each offering unique vibes, and took some time to relax by the seawall with amazing ship views. Back onboard, I capped off the day with a fantastic mostly vegetarian dinner in the main dining room and discovered live rock music at the Music Hall—a perfect ending to a perfect day!
