Valiant Lady: Marseille France on October 10th, 2022 (with MSC Opera, MSC Poesia, Viking Jupiter +)

On October 9th Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady set sail on a 7 night French Daze & Ibiza Nights Voyage from Barcelona Spain. Sailing round trip from Barcelona she will make stops in France, Italy, and Ibiza before returning home. This was her last voyage in Europe for the season before heading to Miami. October 10th, just a day after departing Barcelona, she reached her first port of call on this sailing with a stop in Marseille France. Valiant Lady neared the port just before 7:00 AM with the MSC Poesia off the starboard side and the MSC Opera not far behind them. Ahead of all of them the Viking Jupiter was the first to dock for the morning. Already in port though the dry dock area was occupied by the Norwegian Escape for some repairs as well as the Ritz-Carlton Evrima preparing for her debut and the launch of the entire cruise line. From atop the hill at the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde you can get a great view over the city of Marseille and the port. At 10:00 AM the Norwegian Escape became the first ship to leave as she set sail to return to service. Later in the day starting at 4:00 PM there was a trickle of ships leaving with the MSC Poesia, Viking Jupiter, and finally the MSC Opera leaving the Valiant Lady behind to depart at 8:00 PM.
