Viking Sea New Cruise Ship 2016 arrives Southampton 27/4/17

Viking Ocean Cruises brought their latest ship the "Viking Sea" which has been in service from 2016 into Southampton early this morning making this the very first venture the company has never brought any of their ships here and we hope they will be more a regular visitor in the future, her sister ship the Viking Star" will be making her very first visit soon on the 03/05/17. She had arrived from Le Havre and she had to make her way through some early sea mist coming off the water as she is passing Dockhead towards Ocean Cruise Terminal then she turned just before Town Quay and backed into Ocean Cruise Terminal and drew alongside on the stroke of 06:00am as you can hear the chimes of the Civic Centre clock bongs. Viking Sea is due to sail from Southampton later today at about 17:00pm for Haugesund in Norway.
