Creator's Key Takeaways
We highly recommend that excursion.
It's so nice booking through Virgin Voyages because if you're late getting back to the port, which we were actually kind of close, we got back to the port at 7:15 and all aboard was supposed to be at 7:30.
We had an amazing meal and then I might have gotten ice cream afterwards for dessert.
We won next to nothing. But, but it's also not really real money if it's Sailor Lou is kind of what our minds go to.

Join us for another day on our Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady Transatlantic cruise! Today we docked at our first port, Madeira. Before getting off the ship we had a busy morning. I enjoyed an early morning with coffee and spin class to get my day going. Rachel decided to sleep in and we headed to the Galley for a quick lunch before heading off the ship. We booked a 5.5 hour shore excursion through Virgin Voyages, which included 5 different stops and highlights of Madeira. We enjoyed a market, park, gondola, gardens and a winery. After a full day, we headed back to the ship. Unfortunately, due to the tide and amount of people heading back to the ship all at once, we were stuck in a 50 minute wait to get back onboard. Once back, we went straight to Extra Virgin to grab dinner. We were very lucky that we were able to get a seat, since we went with no reservations. We had an amazing dinner and then another quiet night to end off day 10. We were looking forward to the next 4 nights onboard! Thanks so much for watching, don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!
