Have you been hearing about the food on Virgin Voyages? If you haven’t then you may have been sleeping under a rock but that’s ok because we’re here to break it down for you! Virgin Voyages food is created by Michelin Star Chef’s and there is something for everyone. Today we’re looking at Extra Virgin which is their elevated Italian restaurant. We are on board the Scarlet Lady ship for reference but Extra Virgin is on both ships. Honestly, this is an amazing restaurant and we say you have to go here while you’re on board the ships. Food recommendations: - Clearly you have to start with the bread - Grab the meatballs for starters - Make sure you get the charcuterie board - The Nero Gemelli Seafood Pasta and the Spaghetti Alle Vongole were delicious - The desserts were great but the Affogato was the true winner, the real chef’s kiss. And it’s great with or without the espresso You can pay to get the Whole Roasted Porchetta for $35. You can also add Fresh Truffles to any dish, Black $15/ White $30 and these are seasonally available. To be honest though, there are so many options with the foods that’s already included and it’s all soooo good, we don’t really see the need to splurge for the extra.
