Looking for a hidden gem in Japan without all the crazy crowds!? Visit Kanazawa Japan, a three hour train ride from Tokyo that you will not regret! Most americans do the Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka circuit and never get to experience other places like Kanazawa which has so much more to offer. It’s 1,000% Japanese without feeling like a giant tourist trap. There’s ancient castles, world class gardens, art museums that punch way above their weight, magical shrines, a geisha district and even a ninja district.
