Welcome to our Warwick Castle Tour! This is Warwick Castle in Warwickshire, England. Possibly most famous as home of Richard Neville The Kingmaker, it has been a fortification and a home for centuries. From Wikipedia - Warwick Castle is a medieval castle developed from a wooden fort, originally built by William the Conqueror during 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a meander of the River Avon. The original wooden motte-and-bailey castle was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century. Not only do you have history and stunning views if you climb the towers, during the summer there is archery, hawking, a dungeon and other activities plus special events at holidays like Easter and Christmas. For kids, there is Zog at Warwick Castle. You can also stay in the Knight's Village. When we visited, there was an exhibition on The Kingmaker, Richard Neville 16th Earl of Warwick, and the main castle was decorated as it was in Victorian times. We walked the towers, which offer gorgeous views over the countryside. https://www.warwick-castle.com/ #WarwickCastle #BritishCastle #BritishHistory #EnglishCastle
