Join us as we share our adventures from our last port of call, Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, with you on our First Cruise Back on the Carnival Horizon! Bienvenido to Amber Cove! We actually went on a private excursion with Iguana Mama Tours to see the beautiful city of Puerto Plata! This was an action packed tour. We started with a visit up the mountain to the Teleferico Cable Car. Then we went to Ron Macorix Rum Distillery. This was followed by a quick visit to an old fort. We then had a FABULOUS lunch at Kaffe, a local restaurant. We then did a quick city walk and ended the day with cigars and dancing at Espigon Cigars. You will see that in part 2!
